St. Sylvester fish fry

St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Ottenhiem, will hold a fish fry on Friday, Feb. 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for ages six to 12, and children under six are free. For more information, call (606) 669-3255. All proceeds will go to the building fund.

Covenant Church Caravan Explorers donate blankets

Covenant Church of the Nazarene’s Caravan Explorers group gave 20 blankets to residents of Danville Center for Health and Rehabilitation recently. The blankets were donated by church member, Wanda Wiley of Harrodsburg, in honor of her  late sister, Lola Flenning. In addition to blankets, the Explorers made special cards with candy canes and attached them to each rolled up blanket.
