James Earl Wilder

1933-2018

James Earl Wilder, 84, of Hustonville, passed away at his residence, Tuesday, March 20, 2018. 

Born October 26, 1933, he was the son of the late Otto and Bessie Lee McCowan Wilder. He was a US Army Korean War veteran and a member of Stanford Church of Christ. He loved to fish and go to flea markets. 

James was preceded in death by his first wife, Kenetha Leigh Wilder; brother, Lowell Thomas Wilder; and sister, Josephine Dixon. 

He is survived by his wife, Ella Kersey Wilder; daughter, Jamie (Tim) Frederick of Hustonville; step-son, Jimmy (Jill) Kersey of Hustonville; brother, Carl (Charline) Wilder of Hustonville; sister, Alsie Napier of Stanford; grandchildren: Katelin (Robbie) Hatter of Hustonville and Zachary Kersey of Hustonville and his girlfriend, Ali; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Carroll Leigh. 

Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Rev. Louie Hammons with burial in Hustonville Cemetery. 

Pallbearers are Tim Frederick, Robbie Hatter, Zach Kersey, Jimmy Kersey, Henry Brewster and Stephen Dean. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Saunooke, nieces and nephews, and the Deacons and Elders of Stanford Church of Christ.
