Lois Johnson Vest, 82, of Danville, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at home.

Born July 23, 1935 in Lincoln County, KY to the late Ervin and Nettie Seward Johnson. She was a member of Indian Hills Christian Church in Danville, KY and was a yard sale enthusiast.

Survivors include her husband, Garland Vest; two sons, Randell Carman (Barbara) of Kings Mountain, KY and Donnie Carman of Kings Mountain, KY; one daughter, Thelma Moore (Harold) of Stanford, KY; one sister, Lola Carter of Lincoln County, KY; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one son, Steve Carman; four brothers, Harold Johnson, Dallas Johnson, Roscoe Johnson, and Charles Johnson (infant); and two sisters, Hazel Walls and Cloey Friddhof.

Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY.

Funeral service will be Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY with Bro. Otis Clark officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Moore, Jonathan Moore, Shawn Carman, Brian Carman, Zachary Carman, Nathaniel Carman, Jacob Carman, and Brandon Long.

Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford is in charge of the arrangements.
