- Voices of Praise Choir of First Baptist Church, Second and Walnut, sing at Trinity Episcopal Church at the first stop of Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Walk on Sunday afternoon.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Walk in Danville was held Sunday afternoon. Despite the chilly rain more than 125 people participated in the three hour event where the crowd walked to four venues and heard civil rights songs and excerpts from some of Dr. King’s famous speeches, and a biography of Mrs. Coretta Scott King.
