Dear Editor,

I am very thankful that Rita Douglas has entered the race for Boyle County Jailer. 

Rita has exhibited true passion for corrections during her 12 years working at Northpoint Training Center and I am looking forward to her steady leadership where it is much needed. 

After getting to know her, Rita has shown she has the ability to relate to all walks of life; yet she understands the responsibility of this important position.
