A boil water advisory has been issued for customers of Parksville Water District due to repair work on a water main that was washed out in Tuesday’s flooding on Forkland Road near Rosel Road. Water customers on Forkland Road, Carpenter’s Creek Road, Butchertown Road, Ky. 1108 South, Crawford Hollow Road, Minor’s Branch Road, Gorley Road, Elk Cave Road, Curtis Road and Medlock Road should boil water until further notice. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
