A house at the corner of Old Hustonville Road and Castlerock had to be evacuated Sunday due to flooding.
Several homes in the Junction City area suffered severe water damage after heavy rains Sunday night. Boyle County Emergency Management Director Mike Wilder said the Castlerock and Hustonville Road areas were hit particularly hard with large amounts of rain in a short period of time. The Boyle County area received approximately 3 inches of rain over the course of an hour and a half to two hours, he said.
