JUNE 26

5:05 a.m., a caller from West Lexington Avenue has found a speaker in his driveway.

7:46 a.m., caller’s garage was broken into overnight on Lancaster Road and several items were stolen; city police are asked to watch for a red vehicle; arrest made.

8:18 a.m., a female was trying to escape flood waters on Oscar Johnson Road and is now trapped in her car; she said the water isn’t close enough to the car to sweep it away, but she can’t get back into the residence or out of the driveway; emergency crews on scene; 8:25 a.m., caller’s son is going to the residence and will contact first responders if any further assistance is needed.

8:55 a.m., several calls have been received about the fire station on Forkland Road flooding.

9:28 a.m., caller has a friend who went to a house last night to do drugs and she never returned home; officers spoke to a male at the residence and he doesn’t know anyone by that name.

9:37 a.m., report of a stolen side-by-side from Harberson Lane.

9:47 a.m., Hustonville is requesting mutual aid from Junction City Fire Department due to the town being under water and several people being trapped in houses; assistance given.

10 a.m., power lines are down on White Oak Road and are igniting the tree tops; 10:37 a.m., Inter-County on scene.

10:29 a.m., caller from Harding Street is complaining that fireworks are creating a neighborhood problem.

11:16 a.m., a man is sleeping in a vehicle in the parking lot at Super 8 Motel; when staff approached him he pulled a gun from the passenger side; he was last seen leaving and heading toward Time Warner Cable; traffic stop on Jane Trail.

1:12 p.m., an adult male shoplifter is in custody at Walmart; arrest made.

2:44 p.m., a bike has been stolen from a front porch on East Martin Luther King Blvd.

5:28 p.m., a physical altercation just occurred on Hardee’s BP in Junction City.

5:30 p.m., a suspicious male is going door-to-door selling security systems on Alton Avenue.

8:26 p.m., officers are to be on the lookout for a black vehicle that may have been involved in a shooting.

8:32 p.m., Walmart loss prevention is requesting an officer due to a male who shoplifted items and is now returning them at the customer service desk.

11:27 p.m., a female walking on White Oak Road at Phillips Lane has an infant in a car seat and is trying to flag down passing vehicles; unable to locate.

11:38 p.m., on a 911 call, a female was screaming and said someone was fighting then disconnected; upon call back, she said it was her two teenagers physically fighting but now they had stopped.

JUNE 27

9:37 a.m., a male is passed out in a black SUV parked near Lowe’s; subject was OK.

9:56 a.m., a man is at the police department lobby to report theft of medication from his residence on Holladay Drive.

9:59 a.m., report of theft from a job site on Bluegrass Pike.

10:30 a.m., woman’s employer is requesting police check on her welfare because her husband has mental health issues and had been in the emergency room but was released because he was uncooperative; he has a violent history and rifles are in the home; the couple also has a child; social services requested.

11:27 a.m., a homeless female has been in a car with no hood parked in a lot on East Lexington Avenue since 2 p.m. yesterday; female refused assistance.

1:29 p.m., a female is at the police department in reference to an incident that happened to her at a store a few years ago.

1:30 p.m., a female wants to remove her property from an apartment on Holladay Drive; arrest made.

1:50 p.m., a window has been broken out of a vehicle parked at O’Charley’s.

3:34 p.m., a domestic altercation is in progress on Hartland Drive.

4:03 p.m., a female shoplifter is at the self-checkout line at Walmart; arrest made.

4:06 p.m., a female is attempting to move into a vacant camping trailer at the end of Boyle Lane in Junction City and the property owner doesn’t want her there.

5:04 p.m., vehicle stop at Apache Trail and HIll-n-Dale Drive; needles were found in the vehicle; arrest made.

6:14 p.m., vehicle stop near Walmart; arrest made.

7:32 p.m., injury accident involving a semi-truck and a vehicle on Hustonville Road.

7:45 p.m., six juveniles are causing a disturbance in the area around Dollar Tree.

11:24 p.m., air traffic control is requesting assistance with someone who is shining a laser at a plane.
