Dear Editor,

I love dogs. I have a dog. I take her for walks. Sometimes she leaves a present on my neighbor’s lawn. I get out a plastic bag and pick it up.

I carry it home and trash it. That’s what neighbors do.  I wish that my fellow dog walkers felt as neighborly.
