VISUAL ART

Horizon: Contemporary Landscape, at the Community Arts Center (CAC), 401 W. Main St., Danville. This annual, juried exhibition draws entries from across the country as artists test the limits of landscape art. AUDITIONS

A classical musical with roles for all young actors is sure to please.  Little Orphan Annie meets Daddy Warbucks. This fun show includes all the wonderful characters from Miss Hannigan to Rooster & Lily, to all the orphans and Warbucks’ staff.  They all join in this endearing story with Christmas scenes and heart tugging songs. Summer Sizzle Karaoke Finale, 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lancaster Grand Theatre, 117 Lexington Road, Lancaster. First- through third-place singers will battle it out, a result of weekly karaoke contests held to benefit the Garrard Community Art Center’s new location. The event will be emceed by Robert Denny; battles start with third-place winners at 4 p.m., second-place winners at 5 p.m., then first-place and golden buzzer winners at 6:30 p.m. Judges are Becky Horseman, Enrique Ortiz, Dan Waters and Chris Davis.   Munchkin & Me (18months to 3 years), 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays through May 17 at CAC, Danville. Introduce your tiny artist to the arts in this free, drop-in class for toddlers and their caregivers. The program combines art-making with literacy activities.
