I want to thank your Sister Cities Committee for hosting the Kentucky Sister Cities annual state meeting in Danville on Nov. 2. We had a large attendance, with people coming in from Louisville, Lexington, Elizabethtown, Pikeville, Somerset, Morehead, Frankfort and Owensboro.

We met in the boardroom of Centre College’s busy Norton Center, where a school production of Shakespeare was going on in Newlin Hall. The highlight at the end of the day was having tea at Elmwood Inn Fine Teas, hearing Bruce Richardson tell us about the selection and blending of teas, and viewing the tea mural by your recent Sister Cities exchange artist.
