It seems that our city and county governments are having difficulty agreeing on a number of subjects, the latest being Parks and Recreation. In the words of and to quote City Manager Scott from the Thursday, February 28, 2019, Advocate-Messenger, page A3, “Yes, it’s true — the smaller communities operate under a joint board.”  But he said “when communities reach the mid-sized growth area, they operate under one government.”

Perhaps Danville and Boyle should consider one government — urban county government.
