Boyle County and Danville softball teams were both victorious on Thursday night.

Boyle County 4, Menasha, WI 2

The Rebels hosted Menasha, Wisconsin on Thursday and came out on top 4-2 thanks to a three-run first inning.

Boyle improves to 6-1 and will visit No. 7 Ballard Friday.

Danville 7, Frankfort 5

Danville softball earned its first victory of the season at Frankfort on Thursday.

Peyton Young earned the win on the mound, giving up five runs (one earned) while striking out two.

It was the bottom half of the order that did damage for the Admirals at the plate: Young was 1-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored; Anna Swann had an RBI and run scored; Sammy Bottom had an RBI; Katie Jones was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Ella Dampier was 1-for-3 with a run and RBI.

The Admirals are at home for their next three games, starting April 2 against Model.
