Senior year in a nutshell

As our final days of high school approach, many in the Class of 2019 are experiencing mixed emotions. Many can hardly sit still knowing that they only have three weeks until they walk across that stage and never have to look back. Others are happy but just a little bit sad realizing they will soon be losing some lifetime best friends. Now that the seniors are taking their last few turns on this ride of high school, adrenaline, fear, happiness and just about every other emotion begins to flood their thoughts.
The following seniors shared their reflections on what they will miss most about being a Rebel as well as the memories they created during their senior year.

Rachel Rogers: “I am going to miss all the fun classes I got to take my senior year, and how I was able to hang out with a bunch of friends and teachers and have fun.”

Hannah Dean: “My favorite thing that I’m going to miss is the school’s football and basketball games. As a pep club leader, those created a bunch of good memories.”

Clay Griffith: “Really just going to miss the time with the boys. You work so hard your first 3 years, so it’s nice to have this fourth one to relax and lay off the gas a little bit.”
