The following people were indicted by a Casey County grand jury on May 30:

• Lowell Christopher Cochran, 32, Liberty: two counts third-degree assault of officers; three counts persistent felony offender; first-degree fleeing or evading police; resisting arrest; fourth-degree assault.

• Zachery Timothy Cochran, 29, Liberty: first-degree promoting contraband into the Casey County Detention Center; tampering with physical evidence; two counts persistent felony offender.

• Eric Lynn Terry, 36, Liberty: first-degree bail jumping by failing to appear for an arraignment. No bond was set. Commonwealth’s Detective Dennis Allen testified.

• Kelly Ray Cole, 45, Stanford: theft by unlawful taking of property valued between $500 and $10,000; two counts persistent felony offender; identity theft. Bail was set at $500. Casey County Constable Ralph Mondie testified.

• Kathy Louise Rose, 55, Waynesburg: theft by unlawful taking of property valued between $500 and $10,000; first-degree persistent felony offender. Summons was issued and Mondie testified.

• James Darren Lee, 41, address unknown: first-degree bail jumping. No bond issued and Allen testified.

• Stephanie Dawn Luttrell, 46, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third offense, methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia. Summons was issued. Casey County Sheriff Cad Weddle testified.

• Brandon Scott York, 32, Russell Springs: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third offense, meth; first-degree promoting contraband into the CCDC; persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $1,500 cash and Weddle testified.

• Justin Allen Brown, 36, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; second-degree possession of a controlled substance, buprenorphine; third-degree possession of a controlled substance, diazepam; failure to notify DOT of address change; rear license not illuminated; no insurance card; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,500 cash. Kentucky State Police Trooper Billy Begley testified.

• Ethan C. Whited, 28, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $10,000 and Weddle testified.

• Adam Cody Luttrell, 29, Lebanon: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; no driver’s insurance; possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; carrying a concealed deadly weapon; no or expired registration plates; no registration plates. Bail was set at $25,000 cash. Liberty Police Chief Steven Garrett testified.
