Casey County grand jury indicts 13

The following people were indicted by a Casey County grand jury on June 24:
• Cassie D. Curtsinger, 27, Liberty: identity theft; two counts second-degree persistent felony offender; first-degree promoting contraband into the Casey County Detention Center, an empty syringe and one containing methamphetamine; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, second offense; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,500. Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle testified.
• Gary Dewayne Rodgers, 45, Liberty: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; first-degree persistent felony offender; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $10,000 cash and Weddle testified.
• Blake E. Keebortz, 25, Hustonville: first-degree criminal abuse of an infant. Bail was set at $50,000 cash. Kentucky State Police Detective Kevin Roberts testified.
• Joshua Robert Wesley, 38, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third or more offense, morphine; third-degree possession of a controlled substance, tramadol; possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $1,500 cash. Tyler Martin with Liberty Police Department testified.
• Misty Marie Pascoe, 37, Liberty: two counts first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth, second or more offense; two counts first-degree persistent felony offender; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $10,000 cash and Weddle testified.
• Brandon Scott York, 32, Russell Springs: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, third or more offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; carrying a concealed deadly weapon; no or expired registration plates; no driver’s insurance. Bail was set at $1,500 cash and Weddle testified.
• Ryan Abe Goode, 37, Liberty: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; public intoxication; possession or use of radio capable of sending or receiving police messages. Bail was set at $5,000 cash and Weddle testified.
• Travis D. Crew, 36, Dunnville: first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, meth, second offense; four counts first-degree persistent felony offender; first-degree fleeing or evading police in a vehicle while intoxicated; two counts first-degree wanton endangerment; driving under the influence, second offense; speeding more than 26 mph over limit; reckless driving; improper registration plate; improper passing; no driver’s insurance; possession of drug paraphernalia; resisting arrest. Bail was set at $25,000 cash. KSP trooper Billy Begley testified.
• Megan D. Shuck, 24, homeless: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; persistent felony offender; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $10,000 cash and Begley testified.
• Timothy Wayne Passmore, 39, Russell Springs: receiving stolen property valued between $500 and $10,000, belonging to B&H HVAC; two counts second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument; license to be in possession; no registration receipt; possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $2,500 cash or secure property. Ronnie Smith with the LPD testified.
• Timothy Joel Bates, 54, Liberty: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; persistent felony offender; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $10,000 cash. Bryan Shepard with the Casey County Sheriff’s Office testified.
• Joseph L. Goforth, 56, Liberty: first-degree bail jumping by failing to appear for a pretrial conference. Bail was set at $10,000 cash. Commonwealth’s Detective Dennis Allen testified. First-degree fleeing or evading police; driving on a suspended license, Shepard testified.
• Ethan C. Whited, 28, Stanford: second-degree burglary. Bail was set at $10,000 cash. Kerry Patten with the LPD testified.
