Boyle, Mercer included in upcoming bridge work by state

LEXINGTON — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of bridge projects planned for four Central KY Counties. Deck restoration operations will be in effect for each bridge. This work is part of the Bridging Kentucky Program.
Work will be done on the following bridges, from 8 a.m. Tuesday until 8 a.m. Thursday, beginning Aug. 13 and running through Sept. 12:
Boyle County — Wilderness Road/U.S. 150, at milepoint 15.50
Mercer County — Bethel Road/Ky. 926, at milepoint 0.67
Jessamine County — Union Mill Road/Ky. 169, at milepoint 7.02
Woodford County — Troy Pike/Ky. 33, at milepoint 4.32
Those bridges will be reduced to one lane, with temporary signals in place to assist motorists.
All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
