Lexington Avenue Quartet benefit concert

The Lexington Avenue Quartet will hold a benefit concert on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church, 339 West Lexington Avenue. They will be singing some of their older recorded songs and introducing others from an upcoming new CD.

A love offering will be taken to help sustain African refugees supported by their sister Christian church in Rabat, Morocco. All proceeds will go to support mission programs.

Gospel Singing

Dix River Pentecostal Church will hold a gospel singing on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. The church is located on Hwy. 27 South (next to Burger House restaurant). Bro. Walter Bowling is the pastor. Everyone is welcome.

Vision Church of Holiness

On Saturday, Sept. 21 at noon, Bishop Larry Weathers Sr. and congregation will be the guests at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio for a fellowship service. The pastor there is Rev. Dr. Allen Middleton, Sr.
