Garden Club to meet

The Garden Club of Danville will meet Wednesday, June 2, at 1 p.m., at the home of Kathy Wilson, 1131 W. Secretariat Drive.

The program will be “Terrariums, Succulents, and Fairy Gardens.”

Bring your own container, either to plant succulents, to plant your own terrarium, or to put together a fairy garden. There will be a supply of succulents, terrarium plants, and tiny objects to help design a fairy garden. There will be soil available.

Bring your own chair.

Design:  Pot-et-fleur (2007 HB, pg 207). Horticulture: Any succulent, cacti, or any worthy plant.

Meetings

Junction City — will hold a special called meeting on Tuesday, June 1 at 5:30 p.m. Items on the agenda include: First reading of Ordinance No 2021-3, to form a code enforcement board and their duties; formation of a code enforcement committee.
