Fire department toy drive
The Perryville Fire Department, the Raptors Motorcycle Club and the Perryville American Legion completed the annual Christmas Toy Drive on Tuesday, serving 13 families and about 25 children.
Thanks to the Raptor’s Motorcycle Club who have contributed tens of thousands of dollars over the past several years to this project; the Perryville American Legion for their help and use of their building; the Dollar Store in Perryville, Farmer’s National Bank Perryville Branch, and Bluegrass Community Bank Perryville Branch; Mike Gorley for his generous contribution again; and to each one of you that contributed cash or toys.
Thank you for making this season bright for those less fortunate.
Girls in Action
The Girls in Action group from Bethel Baptist Church in Harrodsburg paid a special visit to the residents at Morning Pointe of Danville. The seniors were treated to holiday traditions, as they decorated seasonal sweets with the girls, exchanging their favorite Christmas memories, cookies and cheer.
