Boyle County swept the competition in the final home meet of the season for local swim teams Wednesday at Centre College.
Swimmers and divers from Danville and Boyle, Garrard, and Lincoln counties competed in the senior night meet at Boles Natatorium.
Boyle swimmers and divers won 17 of the 22 events and outscored second-place Danville 166-76 in the girls’ competition and 170-70 in the boys’ competition.
Individual winners for the Boyle boys were: Luke Hamon (200-yard freestyle, 100 backstroke), Alex Lockhart (50 freestyle, 100 butterfly), Beau Bostick (200 individual medley), and Coyle Clark (100 freestyle).
Individual winners for the Boyle girls were: Cora Gilbert (200 individual medley, 100 breaststroke), Abigail Heath (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle), Avery Holman (200 freestyle), Nancy Haddad (500 freestyle), Maggie Gnann (100 backstroke) and Halee Shepherd (1-meter diving).
Individual winners for the Danville boys were: Keegyn Wilcher (boys 1-meter diving) Brady Bischoff (100 breaststroke).
Sydney Brown won the girls 100 butterfly for Lincoln, and Cole Hardwick won the boys 500 freestyle for Garrard.
Eight seniors — five from Danville, three from Boyle, and one from Lincoln — were recognized during the meet.
