Manuel Wayne Conder, 63, died April 1, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born March 8, 1959 in Danville to the late Earl Manuel and Roberta Conder. Manuel worked at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center for 27 years. He was a member of Alum Springs First Church of God, where he was a past president of the Board of Directors. Manuel loved riding the backroads and socializing. Above all, he loved his family and spending the day with his grandkids. Manuel had a big gentle heart. He is survived by his wife Theresa Ann Conder; his sons, Shawn Manuel Conder, Jared (Katie) Phillips and Joey Burns; his daughter Carleigh Burns, his grandchildren, Duncan Phillips and Kace Phillips; a brother, Stuart (Sandy) Conder; a sister, Earlene “Sissy” (Danny) Hargis and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11am Thursday at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Pallbearers will be Shawn Conder, Jared Phillips, Justin Smothers, Michael Conder, Danny Hargis, and Keith Rothwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Stuart Conder, Joey Burns, and the Alum Springs First Church of God Board of Directors. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Perryville. Visitation will be 4-8pm Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Memorial donations are suggested to Alum Springs First Church of God Building Fund.
