Margaret “Lynda” Russell, 70

Margaret “Lynda” Russell was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world unexpectedly on May 26, 2022 at age 70.
She was born to P.B. and Lucille Leber on May 28, 1951. Lynda loved crocheting, cooking/baking, and garden-flowers. Everyone would rave about how delicious her potato candy, chocolate fudge, sourdough bread, and potato salad were! She loved to support her grandchildren’s activities and watch hummingbirds. Lynda was a big fan of the Kentucky Wildcats, and Boyle County Rebels. She was also a faithful member of West End Church of Christ.
Lynda is survived by her loving husband Nathan Russell; her son, Jason (Pam) Burkett; her daughter, Jada (Darrell) Gaddis; her brother, Jerry (Linda) Leber, her sister, Sandy (Mark) Hogue; her five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, 3 nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 1, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Funeral Service will be 11:00am, Thursday, June 2. Rick Shannon will officiate. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Logan Walls, Wesley Gaddis, Kyle Burkett, Jaina Burkett, Kyle Taylor, and Seth Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Taylor, John Marcum, James Blevins, Bruce Helm, and Carol Boatwright. Memorial donations are suggested to Forkland Community Center & American Heart Association.
