Construction began on the corner of Fourth and Main, and has progressed approximately halfway down the southern side of Main Street towards Third Street.

Pictures below show the newly poured concrete as crews complete the portion of the new sidewalks adjacent to the buildings.

The project is slightly behind the initial schedule but is making up time and should be back on schedule depending on the weather.  Sidewalk replacement will continue along the south side of Main Street over the next few weeks.

Pedestrian access is being maintained to all downtown businesses during their normal hours, so please show your support to our local businesses as they deal with construction disturbances.

Parking spaces may be limited but the parking garage is now free for up to 2 hours, and will remain that way throughout construction.
