Morning Pointe names new executive director

Morning Pointe of Danville has named Sarah Mills as its new executive director.
In this role, Mills oversees daily operations at the senior living and memory care community located at 1375 Perryville Road.
“I love it here,” said Mills. “It feels like home.”
Mills comes to Morning Pointe from Stanford Care and Rehabilitation in Stanford, Kentucky, where she served for 13 years. She started at the facility as admissions director and went on to serve as social services director and assistant administrator. She also had eight years of experience in marketing prior to Stanford.
“Sarah has a joyful, caring, and good-natured spirit,” said Dana Boblitt, regional vice president of operations for the Bluegrass Region at Morning Pointe. “She is committed to exceeding expectations, paying attention to the details, and making Morning Pointe of Danville the number-one senior living community in Kentucky. I am confident that with Sarah’s leadership abilities and her dedication to being top-notch, that she will ensure her residents have the very best place to live, thrive, and call their home.”
Mills earned two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Kentucky – one in social work and one in integrated strategic communications. She currently resides in her hometown of Danville. She enjoys raising and training her two German shepherds and taking them for hikes, in addition to participating in goat yoga.
Founded in 1997 by Tennessee healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and Franklin Farrow, Morning Pointe Senior Living owns and operates 37 assisted living, personal care, and Alzheimer’s memory care communities in five southeastern states and is celebrating its silver anniversary throughout 2022.
