Library hosts speaker on John W. Bate

The Boyle County Friends of the Library will present Mr. J. H. Atkins speaking about John W. Bate 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13. Bate was an early 20th century educator of African-American students in Danville and is who Bate Middle School is named after. The public is welcome to attend the free event.
