The Danville Police Department took local kids Christmas shopping for their shop-with-a-cop event on Dec. 14.

Danville Police partnered with the Danville Independent School District and provided 21 children the opportunity to shop with a Danville Police Officer. Officers picked up each child at their school and took them to Walmart.

After their shopping spree, lunch from McDonald’s was provided at the Danville Police Department. Danville Schools, Danville Schools Family Resource Center, Walmart, McDonald’s all helped make the event a success.
