Chadwell represents Kentucky in interstate rivalry

Senior Katy Grace Chadwell’s career as a Boyle County Rebel came to an end last weekend in the KHSAA State Tournament, but she will get one last chance to play for her coach of the last five years.

On Wednesday, June 26, Chadwell and coach Brian Deem will represent Kentucky in the 2019 Tennessee-Kentucky All-Star Series in Lebanon, Tenn. The best-of-three series will be the final games KGC plays as a prep standout before she attends Campbellsville University in the fall.

“I’m very proud of what she accomplished throughout her career here,” Deem said of the senior star upon her being named to the All-State team.

The first game of the series will begin at 11:00 a.m. EST (noon local time), with game two beginning at 1:00 p.m. EST and a third, if needed, at 3:00 p.m. EST. Any questions about the event can be sent to jimmcalister116@yahoo.com.
