“As someone who was born and raised in Danville, the Great American Brass Band Festival has been a part of my summer event schedule since I was a teenager. All of the hard work that it takes to have this event should never go unmentioned. COVID-19 took away the festival for 2020 but that has not stopped those wonderful volunteers and board members from continuing to plan for the next one. Those who have supported Brass Band in the past, please be sure to do so this year. Our support is needed more than ever.” – Crystal Jones, owner of The Purple Pinky Nail Salon and Brass Band Fan
