FBC Men’s Day

First Baptist Church, at 2nd and Walnut, in Danville hosts Men’s Day on Sunday, June 3 with a theme of “It’s time to step up to the plate,” focusing on Matthew 9:9. Guests for the 3 p.m. service will be Rev. Barry Bowman and congregation of St. Paul Predestinarian Baptist Church in Lancaster. 

Gethsemane VBS

Gethsemane Baptist Church, 123 Quisenberry Ave., will hold Vacation Bible School June 4-8, 6:30-8:30 p.m. The theme is “Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus.” If your child needs a ride to Vacation Bible School, call (859) 236-2581 before 3 p.m.

Murray singers

The Murray Family from Ohio will sing at Pleasant Run Baptist Church Sunday, June  3 at 11 a.m. Jr Fields is the pastor.
