The Boyle County Agency for Substance Abuse Policy held a "thank you" dinner for first responders Tuesday night at The Showroom on Lebanon Road.

The Boyle County Agency for Substance Abuse Policy hosted a First Responder Thank You dinner Tuesday night, inviting first responders and their family members from around Boyle County.
About 140 people ate thanks to the event, held at The Showroom. Food was delivered to dispatchers, and to employees at the Boyle County Detention Center and the Emergency Department at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Those who ate also included law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics and EMTs, and other community members.
